28/07/2010: SEVILLE EUROPEAN FILM FESTIVAL AND THE UNIVERSITY OF SEVILLE ORGANIZE THE 'GLOBAL CARMEN' COURSE

‘GLOBAL CARMEN: a universal myth in permanent mutation’ is the title of the course organized by the Seville European Film Festival and the University of Seville’s Centre for Cultural Initiatives, which will be held from 2nd to 4th November, in the Communications Faculty, headed by Professor Rafael Utrera Macías. The course will act as a prologue to the Seville European Film Festival which will begin its official sessions on November 5th and will continue until the 13th. This year, Holland is the guest country and the poster for this seventh edition is a creation by the director and painter Peter Greenaway.

13/07/2010: THE METAMORPHOSIS OF CINEMA IS THE MAIN FEATURE OF THE POSTER FOR THE SEVENTH EDITION OF THE SEVILLE FESTIVAL

The Welsh filmmaker has revealed the keys to his work, which will be the referent of the VII edition of the Festival, during the presentation of the poster which took place yesterday in Seville in the presence of the mayor, Alfredo Sánchez Monteseirín, the Festival’s artistic director, Javier Martín Domínguez, and numerous public.
